You need to change the recovery mode of the database at the beginning and end of downtime.

Procedure

• At the start of downtime:

  The Software Update Manager automatically deactivates archiving.

• At the end of downtime:

  Archiving can only be reactivated by making a full backup in operating mode ADMIN.

  That is why the update can be continued only after you have made a backup of the database, if archiving is deactivated.
