SAP MaxDB: Updating Optimizer Statistics
Use
To improve the response times of the database, you have to update the optimizer statistics after the update.
Procedure
Proceed as described in Making Preparations at the Database Level. Schedule this action as soon as possible to avoid reduced system performance.
