The shell script for the data transfer runs in the background as a daemon process and is monitored by the HTTP server. In this way, you can control the process in the Process Control Center. For more information, see System Move: Data Transfer. |

Benchmark Migration: Tables counting can be activated |

New dialog Table Count Verification |
After the data migration with R3load, the table rows are counted to ensure that no data loss has occurred. A new dialog Table Count Verification is available in the initial dialogs that allows you to enable or disable the counting of rows during downtime. See also Initial Dialogs. |

Log mode Overwrite during DMO procedure |
During a database migration to SAP HANA database, the log mode Overwrite is automatically used. It is switched back to Normal after the migration. Therefore, we recommend creating a full backup of your database as a follow-up activity. For more information, see Preparing Target Database SAP HANA and Backing up the SAP HANA Database. |
