Checking the Job Overview

The transaction SM37 allows you to monitor the jobs running in the SAP system. However, it is also useful to find information about aborted jobs.

To check for aborted jobs in your system, on the Simple Job Selection screen, make the following entries:
  1. Under Job Name, enter *.
  2. Under User Name, enter either DDIC or *.
  3. Under Job Status, select: Canceled.
  4. Under Job Start Condition, enter a relevant timeframe (for example current date in “From” and “To” to get all aborted jobs of the current day).
