Handling ST22 Dump due to Freeze Trigger

Context

Customer scenario: When HR is adding a new hire to SAP and proceeds to add the banking record, the Bank Key (Transit #) entered is validated against table BNKA.

The Bank Key must exist on table BNKA or else it cannot be saved to the HR record. Occasionally field HR hits this scenario and advises HC.

Procedure

  1. With the help of the impact analysis, outline this issue to the customer as a restriction for the productive run.
  2. Make sure that the customer enforces organizational governance to adhere to this restriction as soon as the hard freeze starts.
