To find out the root-cause of errors in the SAP system, the analysis of short dumps is a good starting point.

You can use the tools of the ABAP dump analysis (transaction ST22) to list the ABAP runtime errors that have occurred in an ABAP system.

If a short dump exists in the relevant time frame of the issue analyzed and the root cause is not clear or if you cannot fix it on your own, create an incident on the application component listed in the header of the short dump in transaction ST22. If no application component is listed, you can use component BC-UPG-DTM-TLA to ask for help from SAP.
