Handling Errors During Uptime Finance Conversion in Phase PARRUN_SMIG_SFIN [AAA Phase)

Context

The following errors are encountered during the uptime Finance conversion in the phase PARUN_SMIG_SFIN:

  • Chart of depreciation 9MCA: Assign a target ledger group to area 41

  • Chart of depreciation 9MUK: Assign a target ledger group to area 41

You can see these error messages from the Finance migration workbench using transaction FINS_MIG_STATUS.

Procedure

  1. To avoid this error, clean up the inconsistencies prior to starting the SUM run.
  2. If the phase already failed, a possible workaround is to delete the target ledger group 41 and 51 from the chart of depreciation 9MCA and 9MCUK using function module AA_AFABER_DELETE from temporary system. However, it must be confirmed by the customer’s Finance team that the affected target ledger groups are not used.
