The concept of Delta Load Verification aims to simulate the downtime of the approach on production-like hardware. It creates a clone of the production system at the time of the downtime dialog. This only works if the clone is created using virtualization, so that the clone is identical from perspective of SUM (e.g. same host names). In addition, the clone must be completely isolated from the network of the production system.
