To view detailed error messages, proceed as follows:
Procedure

Log on to the affected client of the temporary system in SAPGui with user DDIC while the
temporary system is locked.

Start transaction FINS_MIG_STATUS to view the detailed error log.
The use of various transactions is limited in the temporary system as not all
application tables are available. You might not be able to fix missing
customizing using IMG activities, for example. This needs to be fixed in the
customizing source system and included in the customizing transport for the
customer buffer for the next iteration.

Decide accordingly what activity you need to perform:
- Use of transaction FINS_MIG_STATUS to analyze detailed error messages
from data migration and to accept these errors.
- Use of transactions SE16 or SE16H for root cause analysis.
- Use of transaction FINS_MIG_STATUS to repeat migration steps after
corrections.
- Once you have analyzed and fixed the errors, lock the temporary system
in case it was unlocked and restart the upgrade and the conversion
procedure.
