Checking the DBA Cockpit
Transaction DBACOCKPIT provides various functions to utilize during upgrades.
It provides an overview of used memory and the user can check object properties for tables and indexes, or whether such objects are missing.
SQL queries can be run manually (via the SQL Editor) and the user can check running database processes.
If the customer is suffering from long running steps in SUM, the SQL history can be collected from the DBACOCKPIT to analyze for tweaking (Expensive Statements).
The diagnosis files also give clues. They provide results of consistency checks, executed statements, loads, and more.
