The following table lists significant new features and improvements of the Zero Downtime Option of SUM 2.0. The table also indicates the SUM version in which the new or improved features were introduced.

Trusted RFC not needed anymore |
The previously required preparation step to activate the user DDIC for a trusted RFC connection from the bridge system to the target system is no longer necessary. The chapter Activating the user DDIC for a trusted RFC connection that existed in previous guide versions has therefore been removed. |

Simplification of SLT trigger handling |

High availability maintenance mode is supported |
ZDO supports now the update of high availability systems. A dialog in the phase SUM_ASK_ZDO_CONFIGURATION asks you whether you want to switch to HA maintenance mode for further execution. For more information, see High-Availability Setup. |
